Getting To The Start Line

Option 1 - DRIVE TO THE RACE VILLAGE

The parking paddock and Race Village will open from 6:00am on race morning. Simply arrive, park up and get ready to race. Your vehicle can stay at Glenmore Station for the day, so once you’ve finished, you can relax, enjoy the Race Village and soak up the atmosphere for as long as you like.

Option 2 - CATCH THE RACE DAY SHUTTLE 

If you're travelling with family or friends who don't necessarily want to head out to the farm first thing in the morning, this could be the perfect option.

If you are a rider you can drop your bike at Glenmore Station between 3:00pm–6:00pm on Friday, where it will be securely stored overnight. Then on race morning, simply catch one of our competitor shuttles from Lake Tekapo to the Race Village, where your bike will be waiting for you.

If you are a runner simply catch one of our competitor shuttles from Lake Tekapo to the Race Village.

Your supporters can then enjoy their morning in Tekapo and join you at the Race Village later in the day, ready to see you finish and enjoy the food, music, beer garden and atmosphere.

It means everyone gets a little more flexibility - you can get to your start line without needing a vehicle, while your supporters can make the most of their day and join the action when it suits them.

• bus tickets can be purchased via Race Roster when you register - you can access the 'shop' in Race Roster even after you have registered, so you can purchase a bus ticket at any stage before the option is closed pre-event
