Race Day Schedule

5:40am  The Drover at the Race Village, Lake Tekapo.

7:15am The Shepherd at the Race Village, Lake Tekapo.

7:40am The Muster at the Race Village, Lake Tekapo. 

9:15am The Merino at the Race Village, Lake Tekapo.

6:00am  The Drover - Lake Tekapo

7:30am  The Shepherd - Lake Tekapo

8:00am  The Muster - Lake Tekapo 

9:30am  The Merino - Lake Tekapo

Each race will start with a 'bark off' with New Zealand's iconic huntaway dog. The shepherd will whistle and the dog/s will start barking. This is the start. You will then have 5 minutes to cross the start line.

The rolling race start is designed to allow a good spread of competitors right from the start of the race. Please position yourself according to your desired outcome  - competitive at the front, casual bikers towards the back.
