Race Registration + Bag Drop Info

Race Registration Schedule

Friday 2nd April

ALL COMPETITORS can register between 3pm - 7:30pm at the Bayleys Mackenzie office in Lake Tekapo. This is at the Mackenzie Room, The Godley Hotel, Unit B/2-4 Rapuwai Lane, Lake Tekapo. (TBC)

Pre-race 'shake out' ride

Join Aaron Hooper from TeamCPNZ for a short 'shake out' ride during Race Registration.

When? 5:00pm Friday 2nd April

Where? Meeting at the Start/Finish Chute on the Lakefront

What? The ride will take around 30 minutes and will head out on a flat part of the course.

Why? Before every cycling event it is really good to get the bike off the back of the car to make sure that it is running well and also to move your legs after a drive, so this ride ticks both of those boxes.

Come join in with some others for some pre-race banter and to calm a few nerves!

Pre-race bike checks

Come and see Abe from Crank It Up Cycle Repairs for a “race ready” last-minute safety check. Abe will be at the Race Village during Race Registration between 3pm - 7:30pm.

$25.00 Race Ready Check:

Check torque of all bolts. Inspect spokes, tyres, brake pads/rotors, chain, gears, etc… for any red flags and offer replacements or adjustments as needed.

- gear indexing/shifting adjustments

- brake pad replacement

- brake bleeds

- tyre replacement

- any other last minute issues that may pop up for you, Abe is happy to have a look at!

Crank It Up will also have a selection of last minute essentials available for purchase:

Tyres, tubes, brake pads, quick-links, etc.

If you need assistance right on the start line on race day, Abe will be there to assist as well.
